Suttons Colloidal Silver

Silver has been known as a bactericide for over a thousand years. A colloid is quite simply a sub-microscopic particle of one substance suspended in a different substance (the medium). In Colloidal Silver, the particles are called silver ions which have a double positive charge, and so mutually repel. (One of the reasons they remain in suspension), and the medium is pure or de-ionized water.

Allan Sutton’s original colloidal silver was formed through the electrolysis of 99.99% fine silver in deionised, reverse osmosis filtrated “pure” living spring water. An ion is formed when an atom surrenders one or more electrons. The ion remains in solution searching for some substance with which to bond that can supply the lost electron (s). “Pure” or de-ionized water has negligible impurities, thus supplying no such substance with which the silver ions may bond. Many everyday substances are produced from colloids among these are rubber, liquid soap and plastics. Colloids play an important part in the digestion and excretion of substances in the body.

So what other uses does Colloidal Silver have?

The Swiss government has now approved the use of such silver water filters in homes and offices. In the U.S., some city municipalities use silver in the treatment of sewage. It is also reported to kill mosquito larvae. Some people have sprayed Colloidal Silver on fruits and vegetables (such as avocadoes) to prevent them from turning brown!
